Born to Greek-Cypriot parents who immigrated to Canada in search of a better life, my story is rooted in their courage and commitment. I was raised with the values they carried — integrity, hard work, and a deep sense of family. As one of four siblings, I learned early the strength of unity and perseverance. My nephew once described our family motto as “never give up,” and that mindset continues to guide me.

My mother’s belief that I could achieve anything I set my mind to has shaped much of who I am. Her confidence taught me that resilience isn’t loud or dramatic — it’s the steady determination to keep moving forward and to turn challenges into opportunities. That perspective continues to influence how I approach my work, relationships, and creative projects.
